Agua Caldes de Boí

The Font del Bou is one of the springs that emerge naturally in the Caldes de Boí spa. This spring was declared of public utility in 1887 and is marketed under the name of Caldes de Boí. Its temperature at the point of emergence is 28º, which is why it is classified as thermal water.

The water from Caldes is filtered through the different granite layers of the area at a depth of 3,000 metres during a process that takes approximately 80 years. The granite properties of the area, as well as the slow filtration process, give the water unique properties for our health.

It is a water of weak mineralisation (little dry residue) with a low calcium content which prevents the formation of stones and uric crystals in the kidneys, and with a high silica content which helps to eliminate and prevent the accumulation of fats and waste, which purifies the body.
