Collection of Sacred Art
The old Assumption church of Pont de Suert, known as the Old Church, currently hosts the Collection of sacred art of the Ribagorça region, a real cultural and artistic heritage composed of a series of works classified according to the following typology:

Altarpieces. This part consists of several Baroque polychrome wooden sculptures that come from different places of the Ribagorça region, and one Romanesque work , dated back to the 13th century.
Goldsmithery. This section hosts several liturgical objects linked to some ritual aspects of Christianity.
Paintings. Collection of painting from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Finally, another area dedicated to Lavaix Monastery hosts some sculptural and architectural elements.
Together with the old Abbatial Palace of the 15th and 16th centuries –former residence of the abbots of the Santa Maria de Lavaix Monastery, which contains the bell tower of the church–, this building forms an architectural ensemble.
It houses an important collection of sacred art, mainly altarpieces from various churches in the region.
Guided tours: from 18h to 20h.
