L'Hortal

El Hortal is a three-storey attic house built in 1985 with exposed stone walls, iron balconies and a slate slab roof, elements that harmonise with the surroundings and the traditional mountain aesthetics.

On the first floor, where the owners live, there is a living room with TV, games and reading books for the guests. The rest of the floors house the accommodation, which can be occupied by two to six people. Fully equipped. Although they are rural lodgings, it is possible to rent only the rooms, all of them with bathroom.

The house is located at the foot of the road in the village of Barruera, a central village in the valley, which has a pharmacy and a daily doctor's surgery, among other services.

From the house you can see splendid views, both of the surroundings and of the 13th century church of Sant Feliu, one of the churches of the Romanesque ensemble of the valley, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in November 2000.
