Every summer, the Early Music Festival of the Pyrenees (FeMAP) brings music to the Pyrenees. The participating municipalities host a large number of concerts by renowned groups and soloists in the field of early music.
Over the years, the festival has established itself as one of the most prestigious and far-reaching cultural events in Europe, with a cross-border character.
FeMAP seeks to combine quality early music and the natural and cultural heritage of the Pyrenees. It schedules concerts in unique venues, such as Romanesque churches and high mountain lakes, offers accommodation and gives the public the chance to go on guided tours and activities to discover the area, included in the concert ticket price.
The festival also has a socio-educational intervention programme, the FeMAP social, which aims to bring music closer to people with greater difficulties in accessing culture.
