Projection on the apse of Sant Climent, in Taüll
The Museisation Project includes the projection of the paintings of the major apse through video mapping.
This avant-garde system of pictorial restoration takes advantage of the technical potential of the virtual reproduction offered by projection mapping to show the visitor how Sant Climent church looked like in the 12th century, presenting the paintings totally integrated in the architecture of the building.

The inside of Sant Climent church (Taüll), one of the most significant treasures of Catalan Romanesque art, has been integrally updated according to two main aspects: recovery of original Romanesque paintings and new museisation project that includes audiovisual projections of the paintings of the major apse through projection mapping. This avant-garde system of pictorial restoration takes advantage of the technical potential of the virtual reproduction to make Sant Climent church shine just like the first day of its completion.
The idea is to show the visitor how Sant Climent church looked like in the 12th century, presenting the paintings totally integrated in the architecture of the building.
