At the beginning of October, the Barruera Fair was held, which was a place of exchange, buying, selling and relations between the neighbours of the community formed by the inhabitants of the Vall de Boí, where not only animals were traded and dealt with, but also foodstuffs and all kinds of work tools were bought.
Nowadays, the Fair is held on the last Sunday in September and has a livestock and commercial part with local producers as well as producers from other regions who exhibit their products, tasting and selling them. The Fair offers different activities during the day for young and old.
